No Majesties was a newer song written in the beginning of the 2nd phase of Daydream Time Machine.
The ending was written specifically to give Roman's bassline a moment to shine as opposed to a traditional lead guitar type of ending.
The recording ended up being 4 bars shorter than usually done live, but was kept to give the live version & the recordings a sense of separation.
This song was recorded twice before actually making onto the LP. the first one was scrapped due to quality and the second one was accidentally deleted. The version you hear here is the 3rd complete recording.
lyrics
Sunshine, in the heart of a thunder cloud rolls by
These days it would be a pleasing sound to hear it sigh
Sweet dreams, cause it’s been hard to realize
we don’t understand
These things could be easier, I know,
If we weren’t buried in several piles of sand
Who are you?
We’ve spent days, trying to find ourselves again,
most every night
And in so many ways, its been hard to truly see
whats really wrong, whats right?
These words could be meaningless at times,
I know its true
Sometimes, its the world we do not see
that keeps falling on memories made of you.
Who are you?
Sometimes, its the world you do not see,
that falls on you, To make it right.
